This is Me
- Dom Bird
- My name is Dominic Bird. I grew up in Walsall in the West Mids in a Christian family. I was bought up with a rich heritage of seeing God do mighty things in our family and other people around us. I knew God from a young age but it all became real to me from about the age of 17. At which time, I felt the call to go into Jesus Ministry though I wasn't sure to what capacity. I went to Moorlands Bible college to do a 4 year Applied Theology Degree, which gave me understanding and direction. I left Moorlands Summer 2007 and I then got the opporunity to enter the ministry as a youth Pastor. This is where I am today, a youth pastor at a growing vibrant church in Poole called Sunnyhill Community Church. I don't know where I'm going but I know this is right for this season. I am married to the most beautiful woman in the world...Louise. I love God with a real passion and my ambition is to make him known to both believers and non-believers. Me and Loo know we have a full life ahead of us on this mission that God has called us to. It's exciting times as the Kingdom of God is forcefully advancing, and we want to take hold of it.
